This PMDA exports statistics from rsyslog, where in recent versions
(from 5.6.x series I believe, tested on 5.8.0 though) instrumentation
has been added covering queue length, max queue depth observed, etc.
Man page covers how to set it up with a named pipe which works well
(no disk space issues to worry about - just get data out of rsyslog
address space into pmdarsyslog, and with fairly low overheads).
